The above quote, credited to the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, posits that relying on consumers to drive your decision-making is a foolish endeavor because most are terrible at articulating their true desires. They might claim they want one thing, sure.  But do they really?  Or is it more likely they’re working from limited knowledge or a lack of imagination?
