HOW TO ENTER: Enter by submitting your NRDS registration card found in your registration bag into the branded Homes.com ‘DRUM’ on the Tradeshow floor during the 2021 National Association of REALTORS® Conference & Expo at the San Diego Convention Center (the “Conference”) on Friday, November 12 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM PT, Saturday, November 13 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Sunday, November 14 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM where a Homes.com/Homesnap representative can enter you into the sweepstakes. You may also enter by sending a 3×5 card with your first name, last name, address, email address, phone number and company name to Sponsor’s address, attention Homes.com/Homesnap Trip of a Lifetime Giveaway Sweepstakes. Mail-in entries must be received by November 9, 2021. P.O Box addresses are not permitted. Limit one entry per stamped out envelope. Upon the submission of your entry form, you will automatically be entered with one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. In addition, if you attend a demonstration while at the Conference, you will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes with an additional (1) entry. You have a maximum number of two entries per person, one entry from each method of entry described above. In order for an Entry to be valid, the Entry must be completed in full, and all information provided must be truthful. CoStar is not responsible for lost, misdirected, false, corrupted, illegible or late entries. CoStar shall have the sole discretion to determine the validity of an Entry. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Automated or bulk entries or entries submitted by third parties will be disqualified. ELIGIBILITY: The sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents currently residing in the 50 United States including the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry and who are members of, or participants in, the residential real estate industry as a broker/agent, MLS personnel, residential property investor, mortgage professional, loan officer, developer, property/asset manager, or a decision maker in the property advertising plans. Participants must also hold a valid driver’s license at the time of entry and must have a valid NRDS #. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor or Sponsor’s parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win. Employees, officers and directors of competitors of Sponsor or Sponsor’s affiliates are not eligible to enter or win. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners.
GRAND PRIZE: One Grand Prize of the winner’s choice of a Trip of a Lifetime, as will be described during the announcement before such winner is drawn (ARV: $75,000.00), or a cash prize of $50,000 will be awarded to one entrant based upon a random draw from all entries. Actual value of trip prize depends upon the city of departure, time and date of travel, any airfare fluctuations, hotel pricing, and on current market conditions at the time of prize fulfillment, and any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value if any, will not be awarded. The odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. All additional expenses associated with the Grand Prize including but not limited to incidentals, meals, federal, state and local sales or other taxes and surcharges are the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner, unless otherwise set forth in the Official Rules or relevant documentation. Reservations and airline tickets are non-refundable for cash or credit, non-transferable and non-changeable once issued. If lost, tickets will not be replaced.
All prizes will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor who may award a prize for one of comparable or greater value for any reason. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable income or local taxes, insurance, and other applicable fees. The potential winner will be announced on Sunday, November 14 at 12pm PST and will be promptly notified by phone or email. Winner will be required to respond to prize notification within three (3) days of notification or other time period for response set forth in the notification. If a potential winner fails to respond in time or is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner selected by random draw from all remaining entries. By accepting the prize, winner agrees to make a public appearance, at Sponsor’s request and expense, and further grants permission to Sponsor to use winner’s name (both individual name and employer/company name), voice, likeness, and statements for publicity purposes without further compensation, consideration or consent, except where prohibited by law. By entering this Sweepstakes, each participant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each participant also represents that there is no legal or contractual restriction barring participation, including, without limitation, any restriction from participant’s employer or company.
GENERAL CONDITIONS. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. By participating in the Sweepstakes, all participants agree that the state and federal courts located in the District of Columbia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over claims arising out of the Sweepstakes and matters related thereto, and that all participants agree to the venue and jurisdiction of such District of Columbia courts.
RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, and all officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) errors on Sponsor’s website; (c) lost, delayed, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable communications; or (d) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries. Participants agree that Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and those acting pursuant to its authority: (1) except where prohibited by law, shall have the right and permission to print, publish, broadcast, and use worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the winner’s name (both individual name and employer/company name), portrait, picture, voice, likeness and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes (including the announcement of his or her name on television or radio broadcast) without further consideration, compensation, permission, or notification, and (2) that the aforementioned parties and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents and their advertising and promotional agencies, and legal counsel shall have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by participants, against any liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to participants or any other person or entity, including personal injury or death to winner or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize, entry, or participation in this promotion or in any promotion-related activity, or any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy or merchandise delivery. Participant further agrees that, in any cause of action, Sponsors’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, if any, and in no event shall the Sponsor be liable for attorney’s fees.
